Thank You All! Found a simple fix, for what seemed like doom.

I just want to express my gratitude for the resource this site is.

My 2007 Yaris, suffered what seemed like huge electrical failure, sitting in my driveway.

Power Steering
Turn Signals
Wipers
Radio
Windows
Shifter
Power Outlet
and a multitude of functions I'm forgetting

All dead.

Being a stay at home Dad of 3 small children, who's Wife's work schedule was unaccommodating to seeking repair, I was pretty SOL.

My automotive knowledge is cursory at best, but I'm a fast learner, so I looked for a solution. This forum (and a great deal of squinting at electrical diagrams in the the repair manual I found here) led me to an existing thread that covered my exact problem. A single fuse.

If this is happening to you, check the A1 fuse under the dash, 25LP.

It would have cost me hundreds of dollars minimum in towing, transportation, childcare, to get the car to a mechanic just to figure out I'd blown a fuse.

So you have mine and my family's most enthusiastic thanks for this wealth of knowledge of our now functioning automobile!

OP: I'm glad you were able to figure it out and that it was an easy fix.

(Off-topic) klink: I think the reason that people think that it has gone downhill is the generation change. Not tons of new parts being produced for our cars as they will focus on the new model. at the same time, some people have had a Yaris for 5years. I'm glad that it's still here as it is a huge bank of useful information.
