Bigfoot modification and Weathertech floor mats
has anybody done the bigfoot modification of removing some of the foam next to the clutch pedal and then tried to put in weathertech floorliner digital fit mats?
http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...ptChoiceIds=59 I really want these mats but I have to do this mod so I can actually press the clutch all the way in. Any thoughts? |

Yes- I fit in it.

I have done the bigfoot mod and highly recommend it, as it made a world of difference. I can't speak for the floor mats, but I would assume that they are a pretty stiff molded material which may give you issues as I am sure it is made to go over that area.

the bigfoot modification removes some of the foam from the left of the pedal. My size 14 boots dont do so well putting the pedal to the floor and sometimes i am grinding the gears when i am shifting. I really want those mats. I wonder if I could just cut the top corner off of them and then jimmy rig something up to fill in the part where I cut it.

and use a blob of shoe-goo to seal it back up. you can make digital fit mats work on the bigfoot mod with a razor and some time |
