Red face Kia's New Soul

Anyone seen it? I saw it advertised on tv today. It looks like the xD and the honda element came together and had a kia baby... personally I dont like Kia... but who knows, everyone is stepping up their designs.

looks like something out of transformers...

odd interior material, they come in differnt patterns and schemes.

hmmm opinions?

my opinion... first the cube, then the soul, Scion has to revamp the XB and do it right since they now have strong competition

I think they did a nice job with the new xD but the new kia looks a whole lot more flashy especially with those nice headlights.

I saw one in person at SEMA. I like the size, and I think they'll probably sell very well for Kia.

I sat in one at the LA Auto Show, if I was in the market for new car/crossover/whatchamacallit the Soul would be on my list. I liked the brownish houndstooth interior it had, and it was pretty roomy inside ( I'm 6'8")

Willing to bet it'll get truck-like gas mileage.

I'm betting it gets about 24/30. I believe it's got a 2.0 liter engine sourced from the Spectra, which gets similar mileage.

I actually like it .. seems that KIA is borrowing styles from other companies lately. Anyone go to the International Auto Show near them this past year? A Honda Civic/Lexus IS offspring concept was shown ... and it was turboed too!

I mean even Hyundai has picked up theirs as well and now finally releasing their Genesis Turbo Coupe.

Oh .. and had too sneak this in from the show too ...

sorry that Soul doesn't do it for me. The lines are inconsistent, especially with respect to the rear of the vehicle.

I like the Cube better, and I'd probably even buy a CR-V over that.

I like the Cube, too. However, I think the Cube will be a bit "far out" for a lot of people.

It's not a bad looking vehicle.
My wife drives the KIA Sorento. It's got 94K miles on it and has never had a problem. It gets horrible gas mileage, but it's been dependable so we're not complaining.

Oh without a doubt the Korean giants Kia and Hyundia are equal to Toyota and Hondas IMO.. with a bargain pricetag.

they should really fix their emblem. The cars look decent, but the KIA emblem kills it for me every time I see it.
