The following compainies offer upgraded brake pads for stock front calipers:

Endless
C-One
TRD

There are probably others, but these are the ones I've looked into. Endless also offer upgraded big brake kits for the front, they both come complete with 4-pot or mini 6-pot front caliper, brackets and two piece rotors (larger diameter).

A company called Fastbrakes are supposedly offering a rear disc brake conversion using OEM parts and a Wilwood caliper. You may look into this, but for time trial it's unlikely you'll need it since the stock drum brakes are lighter than discs and the rear brakes do very little on these cars.

Mine are from a Japanese company "e Spec", but they don't seem to have any distributor outside of there.

It makes a nice difference to have big brakes

One thing to keep in mind, I am not sure if it will be the same with those other companies, but the hub part of the disc is thicker than the OEM one, so your wheels will stick out a little more, but it's only maybe 5mm, not really noticeable unless you look closely.
