Poor Yaris, it got hit

Poor Yaris

Doesn't seem to be any damage at the very bottom. Hopefully it can be fixed.
I drove it home, it drives normally.

Insurance company said "fix it, we're gonna sue the guy that ran into you".

Goes to the body shop on Tuesday. Hope they can fix it, it only has 72,000 miles and I love that car.

What a bummer. Wish you the best and hopefully there won't be any hassles getting it fixed. Let us know what happens. Good luck!

Yikes! As bad as that crumple is, the door and rear quarter panel still appear to be perfectly aligned, and the door gap looks perfect.

Let us know how it turns out. I'd like to see a photo when it's all done.

The red truck in the background is what hit the Yaris

I've noticed that also, all the lines are aligned. All the inside panels are perfect. No sign of damage from inside.

Lucky I still have full coverage insurance on it. Goes to the body shop Tuesday.

I'll try to get pics during the repair process. Will get a pic when done.

Holy shit! Hard to believe the body work involved doesn't exceed the value of the car.

The repair will cost a total of 4,854.15. My deductible is $500. My insurance company told me I would get that back after they sue the person (and his insurance) who ran into my car. They said I would get my $500 back 4 -6 weeks after my car is fixed.

All the replacement panels and parts are there, I saw them. Its going together. The repair shop said it would be done Friday (April 12) or Monday (April 15). I can't wait, I miss my Yaris.

The repair shop did inform me that new panels for the Yaris are not available. This panel is cut and fitted to the car

All marked areas are imperfections that will be repaired prior to paint. Looks like they are moving right along. Looks like the lines are perfect.

Cool stuff. Fit looks good. Always wondered how they fixed rear quarter panel.

Nice job they did there!

I have a lot of respect for the guys that do bodywork. It isn't easy and its a lot of hard work. I'm really surprised your insurance gave the go ahead for repair and didn't write it off. I've seen cars written off for want of a bumper and a headlight...

That's one pretty good shop, the price is very competitive either.

GEICO recommended this shop. I was a little leery until I went online and checked their reviews. Their reviews were awesome, simply outstanding. I get updates every day, and pictures when requested. When I visited the shop, they showed me the car, explained everything that was being done. And how do they keep that shop so clean?

Oh, and I was just informed that a check for my deductible will be sent out Friday. Nice, its all coming together.

I have to say getting to see that cutaway of the rear quarter structure is pretty cool.
