Ok my fogs are finally working. Are the foglights supposed to light up even when the light stalk is switched off? Mine only light up when the panel or headlights are on.

Also I got it to work without soldering the two jumpers, but the square light won't go on. The reason I did that is because when I soldered the jumpers, the foglights were on regardless of switch positon. And when I pressed it a buzzing sound came from under the steering wheel.

And, I couldn't find the diode on mine. Heres how my switch looks like currently

Fogs only come on with the low beam headlights.

You have to also cut/desolder the connection between the blue-green and green-black pads (and add those two jumpers) for the lighting to work correctly.

Tried this, This is the most I can explain lets go With the switch on
1. The minute I plugged it in all panel lights come on.
2. The lights come on in addition to a buzzing sound coming from under the steering wheel, most likely a relay or near the fuse box.
3. When I turn the panel lights on I see a spark (because I plugged it in without the cover but shouden't be a problem.) and the jumper listed below disconnects. I have done everything you have said.
4. See picture.

Move the jumper that is over the "es" of resistor (at the top right) to the "o" of resistor.

Is the solder and trace under it gone between all of the three groups of two switch contacts?

The same thing happens this is a real picture on my switch. Mind the circuit writer, that is because I accidentally cut off a trace

Getting close. Look at the picture below. This is what I mean about separating the three groups of two contacts for the switch. This isolates the switch circuit from the lighting circuit.

Also, since you used non-insulated wire for your jumpers, make sure that they do not touch anywhere except for at the ends.

The picture is how my switch is now. Still not working

Now everything functions like normal but the square light doesn't turn on no matter what.

It's been so long that I don't even remember what I did lol ....

Don't be surprised if the lamps break on ya. Had it done twice before I finally ordered the Toyota OEM lamps.

Can you take a picture of the other side of the switch circuit board?
