De Eibach veren zijn trouwens een verlaging van 2,5cm rondom, denk dat dat een mooie verlaging is. (niet te laag en niet te hoog).

Ik heb H&R veren, die zijn ook niet zo duur, en verlagen ongeveer 3,5 cm. Zo vind ik het ook ideaal, niet te laag en niet te hoog.

Only with deep gutters, sometimes I scrape a bit with that plastic frontlip. But I think that can happen even if it's not lowered.
Most people I had in my car was 3 (including me) and I didn't have any problems. Although I take speedbumps a bit slower then (after all, that's what they're for :))
My rims are 16"

Mijn velgen zijn ET 35, denk dus dat 2,5cm verlagen de max is.
my rims are ET 35, i think lowering 2,5cm is max

BTW wel een naai streek van toyota, heb net mijn yaris binnen, heeft het 2009 model 100PK. Zullen ze ook niet ff zeggen, dan had ik nog even gewacht!

I have bought 16" wheels with 7" width, but with ET42 and I don't expect any problems, once the car has been lowered. The "standard" alloy wheels on my Yaris are 16", 6.5" width and ET45.

And regarding the new gasoil engines, this is becoming a standard... smaller engines, with more hp. Look at the competitors like Renault Clio etc. 1.2 engines with 100hp.

Open lucht filter en ander spruitstuk op je huidige dan heb je ook 0ngeveer 100 pk.

It's not the wheels which are rubbing, but the front lip :)

That 1.2 has a turbo! so 101 Hp out of a 1.3 without turbo is amazing i think!

To bad there is no CAI for the 1.3 engine. only found this on youtube but can't find the webpage of that brand.

Als ik bv. van een parking afrijd waar een voetpad langs loopt en die stoeprand is iets te hoog en er is dan nog een goot die nog iets lager ligt, dan raak ik wel geregeld de grond. Of ik moest er schuin kunnen afrijden, dan lukt het wel nog.

Sommige verkeersdrempels neem ik aan nog geen 20 km/u (omdat ze dan toch wel overdreven hoog en kort zijn)

That is a well known problem once a car is lowered. You'll get used to it, you will adapt your driving style and you will think ahead where you'll park your car etc. Been there, done that.

I was just curious. Do you guys get together and have Yaris meets when the weather is good? Or are the distances too far?
