Yaris is a safe car
Heres a pic of a near new Yaris after a collision at
100'ks and hour (60 miles per hour) No-one was hurt and the owner WALKED away

The cabin seems to be really solid. Which is a good thing when it comes to a wreck.

dareyou2 .. SO Sorry to see your car get crumpled SO SO early in its life!!! Are you planning on getting another one soon? VERY glad u walked away unhurt !
Please post this on the forums at www.ozecho.com (autralian yaris owners also very welcome here). The above photo is truely a good demonstration that the safety tests done are extremely accurate. Was your Yaris with the 7 Airbag kit? Or the STD twin airbags?

there was a good photo from quebec that had a yaris hit from the side, there wasn't much cabin intrusion, but whoever posted it didn't post the speed or situation of the accident.

That is the most comforting(as in I'm glad it is safe) thing and yet the most heartbreaking thing I have ever seen.
