be the bigger MAN and just dont retaliate. just because hes a toyota parts manager doesnt mean he knows jack shit. ive met people that are parts managers at places like cummins and detroit and even some people i work with here at volvo and they think they are hot shit just because they are the managers and work at those places..that doesnt mean they know what they sell. also, the parts department doesnt give you actual mechanic credit..... im a volvo parts manager but does that mean i know everything about volvos? it most certainly does not.

if you're going that far it'd be smarter to fabricate an actual harness bar. similar to what you see from Sparco for the Impreza.

Tamago has something very similar in his car that he fabricated, wonder if he'll chime in.
