Some A hole dented my fender right on the BODY LINE!

So someone hit my fender i assume with thier door. And it didnt hit it in a easy to remove spot it landed right on the body line. Its pretty noticible too.

It actually looks worse than in the picture. The lighting dosnt capture the full dent. Its atleast 2 inches.

I am going to take it to dent pro today and see what they can do about it. Hopefully they can pull it out. If it was on a door i think they could but bodyline its going to be hard....

i know what you mean about the pic not being able to fully capture the extent of the damage. but even though i can't see how bad it really is, i don't think you should be too worried. i'm pretty sure they can pop it out.

if anything you can try out that hairdryer/canned air trick.

i have one like that on my right front fender area. Its smaller than 2 inches, but still it pisses me off because some shopping cart hit it due to lazy ass customers not placing the cart in the proper area...

I dont think the hairdryer trick will work. Cuase its creased right at the bodyline. And then it kinda spidered off a few ways too. I dont know if its possible to heat it up and try to work it out from the inside without cracking the clearcoat. I have a simular one but smaller on the bodyline of the door as well.

Thing is i know it happend at work in my parking lot. ANd my parking lot is normally empty. Its like idiots see the parking lot empty.... well lets park next to the only car in the parknig lot. And then lets park as close as possible so we hit it when we open our door. Even if they park next to me if they park in thier spot normally theres enough space to open the door fulley and not touch my car since my car takes only about 60 percent of the parking space.

Someone hit me in the same location. Had to dish out about 140-150ish to get it removed from these guys called Dent Wizard. They come to ur place and they can remove dents through a process called paintless dent removal or PDR for short. He just went in with a special tool and from the inside massage the dent out and when he was done it was like the dent never happened. You should check to see if you have one in your area.

Mine was a pretty bigger dent than that though. Here's their website:

http://www.dentwizard.com/content/11...umer_home.aspx

I hope people who dent other people's cars get what's coming to them. Karma sucks.

Sorry to hear about your problem, but glad you are able to have it repaired.
The dealership that I used to work at many years ago was using the services of Dent Wizard; most of the time you can't tell anything ever happened.

i have 2 of these on the passenger side. you all know how the yarii doors are made.. well, it's on the lines of the doors.

this shit happens all the time. You are lucky it's not a car with a sharp edged door that hit you, because it would look real nasty.

Check out a dentless repair shop in your area. A reputable one can truly do some magic on those door dings.

Get the fender replaced. New OE fender + paint should run 300-400'ish.

I'll gladly purchase your hatch for four hundred bills. I'll even pay in USD.

I paid six hundred to have my fender and door straightened and repainted. Girlfriend got lazy and parked close to the main entrance at the mall, I sucked it up and paid it out of my own pocket, of course after we had a very good 'heart-to-heart' about her effen' up my junk and having no respect for it...

no that's ok. i'm good. replacing the fender just seems a little drastic when he can probably get the dent popped out by someone for hundreds less.
