2007 Yaris Sedan Radio Wiring Help

Hey there,

I have a 2007 Yaris Sedan.

I have read most of the posts on here about wiring an aftermarket stereo and the wiring diagrams, but I am still confused. When I pulled the stock unit out, there were 3 connections to the stereo.

First had the wires:
Yellow
Black
Red
White
Green

Second:
Grey
Yellow
Black
Purple
Pink
White/Black
Blue
Green
Grey

Third:
Red
White
Red
Grey
Green

Everything I have read says:
12V = blue, Ground = white/black, Ignition = grey, Illumination = green, Antenna = Black, LF = Pink/Purple, RF= Grey/Yellow, LR = Black/Yellow, RR = Red White.

Is it just me or do these not match up? It seems I need wires from all 3 connections, but then, what are the extra wires for???

It may have been a bad idea, but I already cut the connectors getting ready to splice the wires onto my new stereo.

Please help! Thanks.

The third connector is for the AUX jack.

Thank you! So it seems I do not need to use the wires in the third connector? But still, there is an extra green wire in the first connector. Anything this should be connected to?

And I assume the first connector is for the rear speakers while the 2nd is for everything else?

Thanks again for any help. It's my first time doing this.

There are actually two greens. The one in pin 5 of the 6 pin white connector is ILL- and the one in pin 10 of the 10 pin blue connector is ILL+.

ILL+ is can be used for radios that have a dimmer input to tell it to dim down when the headlights are turned on.
