Arrow ►►►16" Wheels Restoration DIY - Then and Now

Hello everyone!

A few weeks ago I bought some used wheels , really were in very poor condition. I do not know the brand or model, so if if you have any idea I would appreciate.

This is the list of the things I use:
- Regular sponge
- Car shampo
- Dishwashing sponge
- HS purple blaster degreaser
- 240 sandpaper
- 400 sandpaper
- Duplicolor 2in1 Primer & Filler
- Truper Matt Black spray paint

¿What did I do?

1) Washed the wheels with shampoo and regular sponge. Dried them.
2) Apply degreaser and wait 15 minutes.
3) Apply again degreaser, and wash them with dishwashing sponge. Dried them.
4) To remove all scratches use 240 sandpaper .
5) Now all the wheel sanding with 400 sandpaper to leave them smooth.
6) Use a dry cloth to remove dust.
7) Now apply the spray Duplicolor 2in1. Wait 1 day to dry well.
8) Soft sanding with 400 sandpaper. Remove all the dust.
9) Apply your favorite color, in my way black matt.

I hope it helps

Thanks. Tomorrow I'll go to buy new tires. This time I will try Dunlop Direzza DZ102.

The Direzza tread pattern will offer improved straight-line tracking at highway speeds compared to your current tyres.

Hello kimona, Unfortunately it was not so. The Maxxis are better than Dunlop in every way. I 'm used to accelerate when leaving a curve, with Maxxis I never had problems, but with the dunlup I was about to crash, the car swept.
