Removing Back seat... but wiring?
Hey yarisworld!
I was trying together with my brother to remove the back seat... but when we got the bottom part of the seat loose ( the bench ) we saw that there were some wiring underneath the seats (black wiring with blue ends)... Maybe airbag wiring? If i can have more info on this.. thanks! Would really like to remove it, but without any safety issues. Thanks

interesting...
I removed my back seats sometimes for autocross depending what class I fell into. I never came across any wires. I doubt it is air bag related, all air bag connectors are yellow.

How many wires are in the connectors? I don't see any indication of a rear seatbelt warning for the European Yaris, but it may be wiring for a rear seat heater.

back seats do not require any tools to remove. At least, but bench part don't.

Actually.. if you have the 60/40 sliding seats on the hatchback, there may be more bolts to undo.. i forgot about that one.
I always think of my sedan. haha.. |
