It will be tough to find any sway bar replacement now that the echo is over a decade old. They were never really that popular for modification in North America anyhow

Isn't a 2nd gen Yaris sway bar directly compatible?

I think the 04-06 xA and the 04-06 xB (whiteline) fit. Saw this info in a thread on toyotanation some time ago.

Echo and Yaris have different front struts as the echo sway bar attaches to the control arm and not the strut.
I can't say I'd the rear is the same, but I doubt it. Look for parts for the gen1 xb

Oops I now realize you are looking for front. My previous comment is for the rear sway bar

You don't want to change the front, you want to add a rear bar for performance.
and the 1st gen xA and xB parts are a direct fit. xA, xB, and Echo all share the same chassis. |

Hotchkis 29mm/24mm competition sway bar set might still be available...
I have these in mine, I was able to find them used for a steal I installed the rear only at first, it made the rear very stiff and a little slippery on the track. I put the front bar in later when I had the transmission out, the car feels much better with both in IMO. It is significantly lighter then the stock bar as well. I originally had the progress 22mm solid bar in the rear, with the stock front bar. It felt a lot better compared to having the rear 24mm hotchkis bar in there with stock front bar.
