Parting with my new amp :(
I just got this amp a few weeks ago and am seling pretty much anything i can right now to make the bills
sacrificing it at $175 obo priority shipped/paypal'd sells for 299.99 new has customizable lights on it too.. which is why i wanted it to go with my green theme.. that and its an MTX.. Gobble this up before i put it on ebay. here are the specs. Amp works great. # MTX Thunder 4-channel amplifier # RMS Power Rating: * 50 watts x 4 @ 4 Ohms * 100 watts x 4 @ 2 Ohms * 200 watts x 2 @ 4 Ohms (Bridged) * 400W x 1 RMS @ 4 Ohms # Wired EBC Remote Subwoofer Bass Level Control Included # Fan cooling with XTC thermal regulation technology # Prizm EFX customizable lighting accents # Selectable high-/low-pass filter (85 Hz at 12 dB per octave high-pass, and 24 dB per octave low-pass) # MOSFET power supply and output stages # CEA-2006 compliant # Speaker-level inputs with Smart Engage # Preamp inputs and outputs # Dimensions: 12-11/16" L x 9-5/8" W x 2-1/2" H a blurb on it MTX has redesigned all 16 models from the ground up to incorporate the latest technologies including the renowned Xtant Technologies thermal management system. The unparalleled and unduplicated Xtant Technology Cooling (XTC) thermal-regulated turbo-charged inter cooler is incorporated into these new amplifiers to make them even more efficient than ever before. Controlled by the amplifier's output load and temperature of the heatsink and transformers, this intelligently designed internal thermal management system strategically supplies fan force cool air evenly and constantly throughout all primary and secondary devices. The addition of this technology to the new Thunder amplifiers serves to maximize the performance of the amplifier at all volume levels. The amplifier still contains all of the proprietary MTX technologies and design but has borrowed a little wisdom to make it even cooler. As an added feature on the new Thunder amplifiers, MTX has also incorporated a technology called PrizmEFX to make using a Thunder amplifier a complete sensory experience. PrizmEFX lighting tantalizes the sense of sight by allowing choice of unlimited colors on the display including red, green, blue, or any color in between. Sight united with sense of touch (through convenient adjustment controls on the surface of the product) and sense of sound makes the new Thunder amplifiers completely stimulating. And if that's not enough, you can switch PrizmEFX lighting to "pulsate" with the beat of the music to heighten the experience even more.

I'm with ya Tiny.
I'm going to start concentrating on paying off the car's note more than buying more goodies. Never know when the next layoff will hit..... With that said, I'm really jonesen' for some CLAZZIOs!

I don't know much about these things, but how many watts is this thing? I was told I need a minimum of a 1000wat amp. Is this enough?

i hope to get the pioneer f700bt soon ..
i sold my HU for 250 and found a f7000bt for about 350 but i had the chance to start/join a band and figured I would rather invest the money into something that can make me money.. so i bought myself a used marshall half stack on craigslist.. but now .. i have no tunes! i need something in the mean time.. i'd almost consider trading the amp for a stock yaris HU and a lil cash or hu and some other yaris related item ... just to get some tunes back
