Some elusive Yaris tech specs

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone,

I'm new to posting to these forums
but I've been lurking here for quite some
time. I've learned a lot about Toyota's
cutest car from here but there are a few
technical questions that don't appear to
be talked about all that often so
I thought I'd ask:

1. Does the Yaris have a secondary fan
for the ac condenser or just one radiator
fan? I ask this because I've been told that
the Yaris has a hot-running engine.
Normally running between 200F to 220F
while most other Toyota engines run
around 190F to 200F. If so, do these
higher temperatures mean possible
premature head gasket failure and
does the single fan design(if it IS single
fan) affect AC performance?

2. At what temperature does the red
high coolant temperature light come on
and at what temperature does it start
blinking? Is a scan gauge a good idea for
a Yaris?

I hope these questions aren't too
ridiculous & I appreciate any responses.

The Yaris only has one fan. When the AC compressor is running the fan runs regardless of if it needs to for cooling the engine coolant.

The coolant "cold' light turns off when the coolant reaches 131 F.

The coolant "Hot" light flashes when the coolant reaches 242.6 F

The coolant "Hot" light turns on solid when the coolant reaches 248 F

A scangauge is a handy thing, as you can watch the actual temperature of the coolant with it.

There is only one fan, but it seems to be a bigger one on AC equipped cars.
Last summer was quite hot (40°C, rare here), the engine was weakened by the high intake temperature (up to 65°C), but I've never ever seen the red light.
