Great tutorial!
BUT, the pics don't work.
I'd really like to see 'em.

So after all these WP issues I'm out last night looking at the motor and I happen to notice that tell tale trail on the inside of my hood. Not a big trail but water specks in a line in that area. I keep my s..t clean so I knew it was unusual. This morning I decide to steam clean a few areas and take a good hard look at the pump itself with a retractable mirror and then pull off the front end underbody plastic and find more evidence. Sum it all up DAMN, glad I checked. This just happened yesterday around town. Sad but only 15,000 miles on it. Oh and out of warranty as its past 36 months. Not a problem as the folks here have been nice enough to post enough info to tackle this myself.

I would be at the dealer telling them how I would be writing about this failure to thousands of potential customers on the internet. Unless they fixed it gratis.

Not sure why so many people have problem with water pump. I just turned 100,000 miles onn origional pump. However, I dont have Pink coolant. Not sure if the color changed from never changing but it looks like the old Prestone coolant color. I bought car with 20,000 miles and car fax showed no repairs.

I was wondering how many of the WP issues could be attributed to maybe the installation of the NST pulleys but then I saw the pics that were posted and noticed that those had stock pulleys. Ruled that out. Dunno, and I'm not going to agonize over it. Got the tools, parts enroute, Get-R-Done.
