Air Bag Light after slight bump on rear end by stupid other driver!

I've been reading a lot about jumpering on the OBD connector to diagnose codes on SRS. My only other question is where the heck do I find this connector? Is this the same connector under the dash where the engine diagnostic tool would go? lil help would be much appreciated, thx!

also, once i determine which codes are coming up, how do i know what the codes mean? is there a link that tells me what a 31 code means is wrong? ...(or whatever codes i might have?)

Yes it is the diagnostic connector under the dash. Once you get the number or numbers from the flashing pattern, you can check what the codes mean by looking at the SRS portion of the service manual (downloadable from the Micro Image forum):

curious...what is a DTC? manual says it a lot, but never defines it...sorry, never tried anything so complex before

500 pages!? aaarggh! do you happen to know what page shows the code meanings? i have a code 32. if not, its ok, I'll keep searching it out on my own.

Sadly, I happen to know off the top of my head that 32 is a failure of the Occupant Classification System and that the DTCs start on page 45.
