Help With the AC
my ac is blowing hot(yes the light on the button is on)
Plenty of air coming out the vents Checked the fuse, all OK Compressor is engaging, clutch spins and idle changes Checked refrig level with the gauge on a refill kit. Shows about 100psi(in the red). hooked the gauge to my beater truck(ac broken for years) reads 0psi as expected. let the car run for a while on max ac, has no temp change on the lines running in and out of the firewall, no bubbles or movement in the sight glass at the H port Any suggestions? |

Are you seeing 100psi on the low or the high side?
The low side should read between 57 to 85 psi with the compressor not running. High side should be in the 150-300 psi range.

pretty sure it was the low side, smaller of the 2 ports(only one that hose would fit on) tried with comp running and not.
I would double check for sure but its raining so hard now I would have to swim to the car. |
