Here we go!!!

Boarding up windows and getting out of town. I brought in all the patio furniture and parked the Yaris. Ready for Hurricane Irma. Any others experience her? Prayers going out to all our So Flo and Caribbean brothers and sisters.

God speed my friend. As if Irma wasn't enough, now we got Jose tracking in right behind it!

Thanks. Luckily, I'm going North. I feel bad for people trapped on islands. What else can you do bit hunker down.

Batten down and get out, mate.

I was living in South Sarasota in 2004 and survived hurricane Charley. Fortunately, my house sustained minimum damage, but many of my neighbours' homes and the general area looked like a bloody war zone!

Best of luck to you.

My parents are in Cuba. They were supposed to leave on Sunday but will be leaving tomorrow (Thursday) at 11am. Hopefully everyone gets through it well.

Hey guys and gals, just to update wanted to update you. I got my family out and we are safe in Ohio. The drive up was long with five kids. I really wish I could've towed the Yaris up but our van doesn't have a tow package. I would've driven it but I have young kids who my wife has to tend to throughout the trip. I did see plenty of Yarii on our way up. I saw a "murdered out" black Gen 2 while making our way through Atlanta. (Don't know if you're on here, but sweet Yaris!)

Whiplash: I hope your family is ok. I wouldn't take chances with this storm. Are they going to the west side of Cuba or are they flying out?

Pizzaboyracer: Ash is the worst. Clogs up your air filter pretty good. Do you have a hard time getting it off?

But it's not a every day thing some dumb ass just wanted fire works on the hike with him and now mt.hood natanal forest is on fire and eagle creek o and the 2 largest water fall in the usa is all so part of the fire and last but not lest they let all the salmon out early because we need the water from the hatchery s now for the fire .

Good you left early. I see the traffic out of Florida today is unbelievable... and there is a serious gas shortage. Be safe in Ohio, enjoy your family time, and let's hope for the best back home in Florida.
