Take a look through the cruise control threads. I believe in one of them that there are some good pics of removing the steering wheel.

Thanks guys. The part of the process I'm actually looking for is removal of the original combination switch and installation of the new one w/ the fog light control.

That's the easy part. Once the wheel is off, there are just two plastic tabs that hold the switch. You release those and pop the connector.

Got the fog light kit yesterday and I'm not happy with it. On my '07 LB, each fog light mounting hole / spot had two slits where the tabs on each fog light would slide into while the other side would be screwed in.

So, the fog lights for the '07 would have two tabs on each side. On my '09 5-door LB, each fog light mounting hole / spot has one slit where a tab on each fog light should go. The fog lights that came with this kit has two tabs on each side just like the ones for the '07 / '08 LB. For them to fit properly, they should have only one tab on each side. The tab on one side would insert into the slit on the mounting hole and the tab on the opposite side would be screwed into the screw hole on the mounting hole. So, once I installed these fog lights there was a noticeable gap b/w the lights and the bumper. Also, the top edge of the fog bezels pop out a little bit so there's a slight gap b/w the top edge of the bezels and the bumper. I already checked and all the tabs are pushed all the way in, securing the bezels. I don't recommend this kit.

I believe the gap is common to all, not just the 2009 and up.

The tiny gap is probably so that the heat from the foglamp glass doesn't melt the bezel plastic..

As for the tiny gap on the top edge of the bezel and the bumper, that's normal. I have genuine '09 bezels and they too leave a tiny gap.

The difference may just be in labeling like the wiper stalk I put on mine. I bought the older version of the Prius wiper stalk and it has text on it, whereas the newer version just has the symbols.

The other place to try is the junkyard that I bought my wiper stalk from (for $50 vs ~$100). http://autoworksinc.com/
Hey CTScott -
Sorry to dredge up an older post, but when you ordered from this junkyard,
did you specify the part number or just the Prius wiper stalk with fog switch?

I don't know if I have the guts to take off the steering wheel to do this,
but that junkyard isn't too far from me, and I have a buddy that lives in the
Madison,WI area. I ordered the fog light kit from Garm, and might just put
the switch that comes in the kit for now.

He had the part number listed, so I checked that out. The Prius wiper stalk works on the Yaris, but the headlight stalk does not, as it has different connectors.

I want foglights on my 2010 Sedan, and want to confirm these part numbers are also valid for my car.

Oh, and is there an OEM toyota part number for the foglight wiring harness? I assume that with the new foglight stalk, there is no need for an interior wiring harness.

Ifyou get the latest kit from Micro Image (a sponsor of this site )
everything is in the kit apart from the OEM Stalk
which is not required , and the whole kit is nplug and play

thanks... kit price is excellent for the wires and covers, but I like the oem stalk (its only $90 online!) and my own lights (visionx solstice LEDs).

My genuine Toyota ones fit properly around the outside, but have the same gap around the lens (which may be intentional to avoid melting the plastic).

Read above in the thread for the part numbers. They are about $26 each from your local dealer.

I got the MI kit for my '09 and had them professionally installed. There is the slight gap right above the fog light bezel on each light.
