The originator of the hoax memo was identified as South Australian prankster David Thome (http://www.news.com.au/technology/st...014239,00.html) who said the effort of creating it "took me five minutes in Photoshop."

Still worth a read anyway.

I have never been missing food from micky d's.

I have on the other hand been missing food from KFC, and especially Taco Bell.

What that would really do is back up the restaraunt with people screaming at the help because they are missing food. Do people really not check the orders before pulling away?

i don't check. i got better things to do than double check and haggle over cheap ass fast food items. i get home. i take the food out. i see something is missing. i get over it. i'm such a schmuck i know.

and they don't have to plan or schedule that kind of thing because the overall apathy of the average minimum wage worker is sufficient enough.

Why is it worth a read, if it's fake?

It seems like some grocery stores do it sometimes, but I have a paranoid mistrust of most things that are corporate...

Shows the depths people will go to, to try and damage a company. At the time of the 1st post I did not know it was fake. If you want the 2 minutes it took you to read the 1st post back i've got bad news for you

This just happend to me the other day but at taco bell. They must have a simular memo =)

I orderd a chicken ranch taco salad. Suppose to come with ranch sauce, tortilla chips and ofcourse a spork to eat it with. Mine came with none of that. Had to drive back and walk inside and ask for everything.

I guess i was suppose to eat the dry salad with my fingers.

I suspect it has more to do with incompetence than conspiracy.

Meh, I don't go to McD's anyway.

Plus, I rarely go through a drive through when a restaurant has one. It's typically faster to just go inside and order to-go than to sit in the drive through line while people fumble around their car to find cash/change/credit card.
