Ecometer Drains Battery
Driving an 07 Yaris hatchback with automatic trans. Bought an Ecometer a few months back and love it. The meter has changed the way we drive the Yaris in a positive way. However, if you leave the Ecometer plugged in and the car sits for more than three days it will completely drain the battery.
I contacted Ecometer and they told me on July 14 that this is a firmware issue and they will replace the Ecometer if I send it back to them. Just thought some of the Yaris drivers who use an Ecometer would like to know. You can find the appropriate Ecometer contact information on the web. Wyo

FYI, there was already a thread about this, but good to pass along anyway.

I'v had 2 of the new ones and they're no better than the old ones I had. Still battery assassins.
