Winter gas is here in Dallas

Just filled up with 10 gallons of disappointment. About this time yearly they bump up the corn in the gas to the full 10%. It's not bad once it cools off and the air gets dense, but right now it sucks.

Anyone else? It may be bad gas, but its probably not. The switch to more ethanol seems to coincide roughly with Daylight savings time switches.

I don't know, but my mileage has suffered the last tank...it dropped from roughly 34 in town and right now I am on target for 25. My driving habits haven't changed in the last week or two and I haven't been idling any different than I normally did.

You aren't kidding. I think there is something like 80 or 90 different blends of gas in use depending on geography and time of year.

and we wonder why gas is so expensive.
