CUP HOLDER REMOVAL?

im doing a detail on my yaris, and i wanna take the cup holders out from the dash, but have no idea how to without breaking them...anyone done this???

should be a screw/bolt inside each cupholder...

My sedan has no screw whatsoever..
i just pulled it and wash off the left-over, dried, coffee... and slapped it back in.

just beware of the auto open spring...

You Can find how to remove the cup holder and basically the whole dash in the Yaris repair manual.

the whole dash is simply clipped on. only 2 bolt to remove to release the passenger air bag...

she's right. I've taken mine apart. one screw for each cupholder, and then you have to kind of squeeze them out.

where can i find a spring for the cup holder.. mine came out.. i hit it with my knee cap and i cant find it anywhere in the car.. :(

you might have to buy a new cup holder or else if you go to a dealer and ask them nicely they may be able to find you a spring for free...I lost the one for my driver's side once and my dealer hooked me up free of charge...

Your best bet is to look at the other one you have on the other side. It is tricky and needs some patience.
