Parking lights and Tail lights not working

Hi guys, great forum. I've just purchased a 2007 hatch for my wife about two weeks ago. Everything was fine until yesterday when she noticed that the tail lights were not working. I've checked every fuse under the hood but still no joy. is there anything else theat could have gone wrong. any help woul be appreciated.

The taillight fuse (labeled "TAIL") is under the bottom of the dash, in the secondary fuse panel.

Hi, I have the same problem but I find no fuses labeled "TAIL" in my secondary fuse box under the dash. All the fuses seems fine as well. Any alternative ideas?

Send a message via Yahoo to toyota
so what happens if only one side of the brake light works and not the other? can that still be the fuse?

No. One fuse drives both, so that is most likely a bad bulb.

No tail lights

No tail lights working front or rear on my Yaris, no warning sound when light switch left on and door opened, no front or rear fog lights. All other lights working.

All fuses and relays checked out ok by auto electrician but he didn't have time to do a full check of system.

Any ideas anyone?

Recheck (or replace) the PANEL1 fuse in the under dash fuse panel.

Bad switch? Check all grounding points. also, did you add anything like trailer hitch wiring?

Nothing added. Lights just stopped working. Where would I find the grounding points?

Anyone have the link to a video on cleaning the contacts in the light stalk? Saw it mentioned in a thread but couldn't find a link.

You said that all other lights work - So, the headlights come on, but the tails, fogs do not?

Does the indicator come on in the cluster?

Does your Yaris have daytime running light?
