Yaris while a Driving Instructor

I picked up a scangauge to figure out where I'm losing most of my mileage while working. I'm a driving instructor, and expected to be getting less than idea mileage, but I'm generally only getting 500km per fillup.

When I checked out my numbers yesterday, I was surprised. On my trip to and from work, 5.5 to 6 litres per 100km.

Did some city/country driving after work yesterday, 5.2L/100km.

At work? average between 8 and 10 litres per 100km. Students need to learn how to parallel park in less than 30 minutes -.-
