Wires for reverse light bulb

I'm trying to install this reverse camera and I have the wires ready however I don't know which wires are for the reverse bulbs to splice in. I have a picture of the wire set for rear bulbs. Can someone tell me the + and - wires for the reverse.

What I did was looked at the reverse bulbs, looked at its wire connector, and guess (correctly) on which wire was positive and which was negative (had a black stripe on it iirc, whereas the positive was a solid color that I can't remember).

Also, gotta make sure you connect your HU's trip wire as well (I'll be doing that tomorrow as right now I have to manually turn on the camera once I'm in reverse)

You can also look for wires around the shifter if that's easier.

Reverse Wire

Of the five wires on the rear light harness, did you figure out which is the correct wire?

TIA

nope, I tried all the wiring and it still didn't work. For this little ass car, its more trouble than its worth so I said f*** it and abandoned this install.

In my 2008 3 door, it's the brown (I think, my eyes kinda suck with colours)

Where the yellow wire enters the connector is the spot for reverse positive.

You can see the shrink wrap where I already made the mistake hahah.

I turned the reverse light into a diy rear fog light. That's why I have the yellow wire re-pinned into the connector where the reverse positive goes.

Red is positive, black is negative (ground)

Test with circuit tester - positive cable should light up when in reverse, negative cable should not light up when car on/off or changing gears

Might be different colour to mine but here is the diagram that shows position of positive and negative cables (Terminal 5 and 6 for Sedan respectively).
Always best to confirm positive wire with current tester when gear is put in reverse - should light up. Hope this helps

I used a test light and hooked it up to wire 5 positive (brown) and wire 6 negative on the rear drivers side light on a 2008 Yaris sedan - this was the correct reverse wire! Hooked up the backup camera like pro. Thanks for help y'all!
