Removing Toyota crests

Hey all

I wanted to know on a 2009 yaris hatchback 4 doors, I want to remove all 3 chrome crests, "toyota", "the logo" and "yaris"

I know the front one is a "push to clip" one and no glue, but the rear ones seems different, any 1 ever did this, I wanna paint them black, how do you remove them ???

Thx

use a hairdryer to loosen up the glue and get a thin string (fishing line works great) and saw through the adhesive.

If you are just going to paint them black and stick them back on, you could just buy a can of Plastidip and "paint" them while they are on the car.

Here is a pretty good guide on what to do.

Since I bought my car in July, in Texas, all I had to do was park it in the sun and the Toyota and the Yaris emblems in the rear came with no more difficulty then the top slice of bread of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Clean up with "Goo Gone". The front emblem I just yanked off without taking of the bumper or silly shenanigans like that and replaced with a Netz logo from MicroImage. The rear logo in the center was allowed to stay.

My Yaris logo fell off at the car wash! May look cleaner without it, might have to leave it off.
