I'm not sure about your insurance, but in most cases there is no deductble on on comprehnsive insurance which is what covers damage to parked cars, also might you might want to get the suspension checked

I'm guessing it's covered, but regardless, I have to pay the deductible.

As far as the suspension, I'll have them check on that too.

$4700 for a little dent, mirror and windshield?!
Heck, if you could have just taken the $, I'd have just bought a junkyard mirror and a new windshield and pocketed the balance.....
That's a ripoff.....

Brand new paint job, all around.

It's mostly labor, but still. Almost 5grand in exchange for a 500 deductible is worth it.

Good on you for taking photos particularly of the failed section of the branch. If you can prove negligence on the part of the estate management company, you stand a better chance of getting your expenses reimbursed.

Oh, the property management will be paying up. Considering the company had the tree completely removed the next day--a 60 foot fucking tree-- there's ZERO doubt as to who's going to get paid.

I feel pretty good about getting my reimbursement back. Then again, my car has not been completed yet. The withdrawl symptoms are getting out of hand.

Just got the phone call about five minutes ago. The car will be completed by 4pm today.

I'm stoked!

Great job!!!!

Almost 1 month in the shop; they came through.

Let's see how long it lasts before it gets keyed. *pounds on wood*

Oh, and they did give me a container of touch up paint in case it gets keyed, so I'm good.

BTW, it's hot, sunny and bright in L.A., so excuse the probable lack of detail in the pics, I assure you it rocks. They also washed and waxed it.

The one bummer is that I cannot put a cover over it until six months from now. When a car gets re-painted, the paint needs six months to "cure."
