Worked PERFECTLY! A big thanky!

This maintenance light was the only thing keeping me from changing my own oil...problem solved!

holy cow, thanks everyone, i thought it came on because it didn't like 10W40. and after replacing it after 1K miles with some Royal Purple 5W30 it was still on. now i know how to turn it off.

I'm so glad I found this topic! I'm saying good bye to that mini-heart attack I get when I glance over and see that light on.

i work at a toyota dealer, here's how...

1. press odo/trip till you get trip a
2. hold trip a while turning ignition to on position, don't start engine.
3. trip a will switch to blinking lines and the maint light will also blink. when it goes away and the trip meter flashes, you are done.
