TWM Performance Short Shifter

Anyone get one yet? I'd like to grab one, but my PayPal account is depleted. I'd want to get a new boot at the same time since the stock boot looks even more ridiculous with the shorter shifter.

Give us a review birdy, when you get your car.

I'm interested in the short shifter because I find the gearbox slightly mushy and stock shifter is too high/long for my tastes.

A short shifter isn't really going to help that. But hopefully TWM has shifter bushing kits in the works, which would help. I had one in my WRX and it made such a huge difference, but even the stock Yaris shift feels smoother than the WRX' did.

I'm going to order my shifter on Tuesday, btw. Still debating on whether to get one of their weighted shifter knobs or not.

i've heard that short shift kits tend to wear out the snychros sooner.... maybe it's just that the people that tend to buy them tend to put more stress on there cars.... now we wouldn't do that now would we?

TRD ones work well but not as short as the Echo TRD ones.

Hi Guys,

I thought I'd post some pics of the Yaris shifter installed. Here's one with our M1 Abrams shift knob:

And one with the stock shift knob:

For more info on the shifter check this out: Yaris Short Shifter

If you have any questions feel free to give us a call toll free at 1-877-655-0540.

Thanks,

Kevin

I'm 6"3" with lanky arms and that looks like one hell of a reach to shift.

TWM has some shifter assembly base bushings on the way, and soon after we plan to release a shifter cable bushing kit.

Thanks,

Kevin
