100,000 mile tune up
What do I need to do?
I have changed manual transmission fluid at 50k intervals. I have never pulled the plastic cover off the top of engine but, looks like I will have to for the spark plugs. Also, do you reccomend Toyota OEM parts or can I buy at Auto Parts store like AutoZone or PepBoys? Where can I take the used antifreeze? |

spark plugs (NGK only for me...)and antifreeze (toyota only for toyotas).
walmart and autozone take used antifreeze as well as used oil and other fluids. |

just crossed the 100k threshold on the sedan and i always recommend oem if you can find/afford it. i put denso iridium plugs and toyota long-life antifreeze(both what my car came with from the factory) in and you may as well change the air filter(unless you've done it recently).
i found a good deal online for the plugs and the coolant i just bought from the local dealership parts counter. |
