You don't get a "real" snow in Houston more than once or twice a century, and it is generally gone in 24 hours. That's why all the trees have leaves all year. :) You are right that they'd all be on the ground if they got the heavy wet snows seen farther north, or ice storms. One of the benefits of living in a place that is friggin' crazy-hot and humid for 6 months a year.

Snowed here in central Mississippi as well. It's a rarity here. Sticks at night, melts during the day so you never would have known it was there if you didn't watch it fall.

it was suppose to "snow" in corpus lol =/ to bad it didnt, all we had was sleet
