Hello ppl!
I own a Yaris d4d 2013 90hp.
I could like to know if anybody have put a bigger turbo...a bigger ic....a bigger fuel injectors.
What modifications i can do to gain over 50hp?
I know about chips but i could something more effective.
THanks a lot

we don't have the diesel in the USA, but those are the types of things you would do. i would think the first thing would be a ECU as toyota has a way of keeping things mellow. you could probably squeeze 10% gain in HP and +15% torque from stock. then when you add on larger things you can appropriately adjust for the gains. IMO

no, not chip. stand-alone computer. full engine control module. then, the largest intercooler you can fit. turbocharger might be slightly bigger, most likely a different impeller only. i wouldn't go super huge and loose all your low-end, that always sucks. stock should be close to perfect. propane injection is a good adder for diesel, so is a water/methanol injection. if you add both of those you will get your +50hp...

If you want to get 50+ more HP, buy a new car! Realistically though, if you plan on increasing the rated power by more than 50% you will need to do a lot of mods with the right supporting mods. Bigger turbo, bigger IC, tune, engine building, etc. At the end of the day if you want a car with 140 HP just buy a corolla, celica, matrix, civic, etc it'll come up cheaper in the long run.
