I wonder if there's a synthetic comparable with this fluid? Maybe the Mobil 1 full synthetic they have at Advance (it claims to be multi-use)?

for right now do not change the toyota fluid you have. as of now no company has a product to match TOYOTA WS fluid. that is all.........

I know it's an old post, but still relevant as ATF-WS is a current product.

With a Vi of over 200, the WS must be a fully synthetic fluid! Good to know, and I feel a little better about the price, now that I've seen these numbers.

AMSOIL has a A.T. fluid for the YARIS . Go to www.amsoil.com .

I'll stick with the Toyota WS, as it was designed for the Toyota Transmissions and vise versa.

The Amsoil, while good fluid, is not designed for Toyota transmissions. They design the fluid to work in as many applications as possible.

Plus the Toyota WS specs out better than the Amsoil.

valvoline

Valvoline Dex/Merc is also compatible with Toyota ws tranny fluid. Lots of folks over at TACOMA world are using that in their 2nd generation Tacoma trucks with good results, me included.
