Canadian 2008 spec Release? - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hi everyone, looking to get another yaris for my family, I bought a Sedan with package F alrady, now Need another yaris, this time I will buy a hatchback, I went to dealer And Ask Side curtain and side airbag for Yaris HB, they say is not an option yet for 2007 model. Just wonder anyone know anything about the 2008 years model have any new option or spec...

Well, side curtain airbags aren't available for the LB right meow. I'm not even sure if side curtains will be available for the LB or not. For meow, you're pretty much stuck with the sedan if you them. I think the 2008 line-up is pretty much the same as the 2007. Meow, I hope this helps you with your purchasing decision. My LB came with them as a added option, not part of a package... I know options are different though for up north.

Toyota website should answer your questions for now, but probably not for 2008 yet. Side curtains are an available option (US)...just not sure how available.

Thanks Everyone, I already have a sedan, GF took my sedan, since the sedan have everything, And I need another yaris to get my stuff around, So I decide to get a hatchback. The dealer called me the spec will release in beginning of July. So Hopefully, I can share with everyone here ^_^

Guys and Gals, Just get a call from my dealer, They say all the Yaris will get immobilizer for 2008 models, and i will get more information later.

Hope is good news for everyone who need to buy a new yaris

As a TOYOTA Product Advisor, we were given the changes for 2008 Yaris; however, the new prices have not yet been released.

2008 YARIS LB - All Models: added Engine Immobilizer - Standard Equipment

2008 YARIS CE 3DR LB:
No Change -

YARIS LE 5DR LB:
Deleted Sport Cloth - Added Cloth

YARIS RS LB:
Deleted "A" Package Added "B" Package as standard equipment
Added Sport Cloth Standard

Changes to optional equipment:

Added 01F8 - Meteorite Metalic (not the same as the 2007 4Runner's Meteor Metalic. This colour 01F4 (4Runner) has been renamed to Shadow Mica)

deleted 6-disc changer
