Does (Wepon R) really work ???

Hi everyone I am just wondering if any of you guys or girls have use or have an wepon R short ram air filter ?? My qustion is does it really work. Is it better then a K&N filter. Please let me know you feed back, am thinking about getthing one just want to make sure its worth it. http://www.weapon-r.com/

any filter that allows you to suck in hot engine-bay air is NOT going to improve your engine performance.

Weapon R products are crap. I've always heard bad reviews on everything they had come out with. Its just plain bad quality. I would suggest to get a cold air intake whatever your final choice may be. Some good quality examples to go with are Injen, AEM, TRD.

Get AFE its worth the little extra money. I had a weapon r it was my first mod. But then sold it and bought a afe one.

Actually, the AFE is less expensive than most of the cold air intakes (AEM, Fujita, TRD, etc.)

The Simota short ram is pretty nice quality for $120 shipped.

i've had my sri and headers for like 2 years now and not a problem yet ... performance gains? well haven't really dyno'd the car or anything to really know otherwise it just "feels" better than stock

Would you recommend the simota one or the afe REALLY worth the few bucks more ?
