A/C smelling weird?

Hi there. I don't know what is, when I turn on the a/c in 2, 3 or 4 it works great.
But when I put the a/c in 1 it's start smelling weird. Anyone now what's happening or what's the problem? I'ts really stinks...

generally its just condensation got into the vents and is getting pretty rank. try just running the fan with the FRESH on for a few minutes to dry it up. If it developes mold it could develop enough to give you Leggionars Disease. If your really worried and don't wanna take it to a dealer I suggest. it'll foam up and clean it out and leave a better smell.http://1z-usa.com/miva?/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=air

rstb88 is right, alot of condensors collect moisture when the unit is turned off and if they are not coated with some kind of special fungal spray they develop mould. I cant imagine you could ever get that ill from it but it does stink something horrible.

I have had the smell in my A/C. I complained to the dealers' service department the last time I brought my car to them for oil change. After the oil change, I checked the bill and on it, it was written (inter alia) - deodorized A/C. It was free. The problem has not recurred this far.

Leggionaires disease is only caused by airconditioners of any kind. If they are allowed to 'cultivate' the mold
