Can the 2NZ-FE use the same performance parts than 1NZ-FE?
Hi,
My Yaris HB is 1.3 but it has the 2NZ-FE engine, it looks exactly the same as the 1NZ-FE, the difference is only on the internal cc...... For example, can i use the megan header?.... intakes, pulleys...... bolt-ons in general..... thanks |

Best way to find out about manifolds is to head down to your local parts store and see if they'll let you look at a 1NZ and 2NZ gasket side to side.
Same/similar gasket = same bolt pattern. Intakes are a little easier as they are mostly chassis dependent. As long as the 2NZ TB is in the same place as the 1NZ's your fine. |

The intake on the 2NZ and the 1NZ is exactly in the same position.....
The 2NZ-FE isn't the same 1.3 engine from United States..... I found in some parts websites that the exhaust gaskets are the same for both NZ's...... And the big question....... TURBO???....the zpi will work? |

Dude, i'm not from the states. I'm just a little bit north from you.
and btw I have 2 Yarisss 2007 in my garage. A LB 1.3 2NZ and a Sedan 1.5 1NZ So I will like to see you fit a 1.5L intake on a 1.3L Well... at least that your are talking about the 1NZ on the old echo wich I think has a different intake position. |

This is the intake on the 1NZ.
Do you have a picture of the 2NZ engine bay? I don't think the turbo kit will fit on your car... (as a bolt on) at least the piping. You will also have to do a new tune for the emanage. |

Im pretty sure that the intake wont fit. Unless you custom make the tube, and you will have to make a MAF adapter their are different as well as the sensors.Yea toyota usually make things compatible without to much difficulty. The only reason why alot of things are the same because of their engine codes. For example
5s-3s 2jz-1jz 1MZ-3MZ 7M, 5M etc. And the same with honda, most of their parts are compatible. Since the yaris uses the NZ design, I would most likely say they will wit with minimal modification.
