I only bought the civic manual b/c it was close to the same price quoted to me by my Toyota Dealer so I took the car with more HP, Class, similar MPG. I am averaging 35 to 36 a gal. with mix highway and local...I am still looking to save more gas without going hybrid.

Why Yaris?

...I live in Queens, NYC...and the civic is slightly a high profile car b/c there are a lot of thugs whom drive Honda's and hunt for Civic and Accord Alloys just to swap or resell in the black market....The Yaris is a lower profile car to me b/c most people in my circle doesn't even know such a car exist...so therefore I would like to drive a Yaris just to Dare-To-Be-Different. I have also owned many older Toyota and Honda cars before and I always felt that Toyota was just a bit more of a solid car but at the cost of the Fun Factor.

I drove a '08 Honda Civic Hybrid, before having to downsize to a '12 Yaris Hybrid. Will miss the Honda though as it was a nicer car. Unfortunately Honda does not manufacture a 'green' enough Civic to commute into London for free....

How do you feel about London's congestion charging?

Im in the process of buying a 2012 yaris.. cant decide exactly which i want. Pretty sure it will be the black LE 5 door with convenience package +spoiler and side mouldings and some bonjovi audio thing.. so ill post what im driving right now. I have a 87 corolla gts which is my summer car and i have a 92 corolla which is my daily and winter car. The Yaris will replace the 92 as a DD.

12 Yaris 3dr L 5M

Still have the Vette, but loving the Yaris. It reminds me of my '81 Tercel (Turkel), but much, much better. Cars have come a long way in 30 years...
