Installed some cheap eBay amber LED bulbs. Looks to be about the same intensity as the filament bulb (installs crooked in the rep RS tail, not sure if the filament bulb did too since it's less than half the length of the LED bulb and is globular in shape vs a stick). Wasn't worth taking a pic. Then again, I should have looked at how the light was actually thrown behind the car...

Yeah, man, looks nice.

Plugged a tire earlier due to a nail (I knew a tire shop will refuse to repair it due to the tire's age) and painted the Tanabe axle back matte black to help hide it. lol

Don't mind the dirty car (been raining on and off here) and the stacked reg stickers (from previous owner).

lol. Yeah, original tires from what it looks like. I'll run them a little while longer (maybe two months) and I'll have new shoes for her.

There's a small 4-digit code on the sidewall of each tire if you want to know for sure. The first two digits are the week, and the last two are the year the tire was manufactured. "1608" would mean the 16th week of 2008, for example.

That's why I assumed they were the original. iirc, it was marked as the 7th week of 08. Lol

That gives me hope for the Michelins I bought for mine. It's going to take me at least that long to reach their 90,000 mile warranty. I've read their warranty expires after 6 years, though.

Yup. That's the catch. Most tire shops may refuse working on tires older than 6 years old as well. That's why I didn't bother trying to have my tire repaired cuz I didn't want to be in the position to be forced to buy a tire for the steelies.

Left side is the Osram, right side is a week old eBay one (cuz that side died after a month). Osrams are brighter, and more pure white so they match better with my 5000k Morimoto Elite HIDs (despite being advertised as 6000k) where as the eBay ones are at least 6000k. Hoping the Osrams last longer than the eBay ones.

After hours and hours, I'm finally done. Washed with Gold Class wash, clay barred with Meg's mild blue bar, Scratch-x'd every since inch (to minimize the swirls on the car, and cuz I was doing everything by hand [if I had a DA, I'd use Swirl-X]), Deep Crystal Polish, and Collinite 476s wax. I clay barred and waxed the headlights, taillights, and windows as well.

A few more pics:

Top is before (after wash though), bottom is after everything. Pic is of the propped up hood.

(I didn't bother washing the wheels and tires since I'll end up replacing them soon enough)
