My horn quit - not the fuse.
Hello everyone!
I have a 2008 Yaris Hatchback and the horn has more or less quit working. 95% of the time it doesn't work, maybe once or twice every other week or so I can make it sound, and even then it sounds really weak and kind of peters out after a few seconds if I hold the horn down. The fuse is fine, what else should I check? I was in an accident back in February that may have knocked something loose, the horn quit about a month after this accident. Any ideas would be great. Thanks! |

Check the horn itself and the one wire connector going to it. It is mounted to the front of the top radiator support bracket. If you pop the plastic clips for the front bumper, you can pull it back enough to get at the horn, without completely removing the bumper.

Also check the D3(I think) connector underneath your steering wheel.
