2012 Yaris L - Aux/USB input?
Just curious if the base Yaris L has the Aux/USB input in the glovebox?
I'm about to drive pick up a 2012 Yaris L and drive it 12 hours home....just trying to plan ahead. I'm already going to install the cruise control. Thanks! |

Mine is a 2014 LE and I moved the USB/aux input from the glovebox to the center console by the hand brake. I understand the idea behind putting it there, but I hated it there. So I moved it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It was a pain to move it, so heads up. Remove the glovebox, the passenger side dash cover, the stereo head unit, climate control panel with knobs, and center console, then pop out the USB connector, set it aside, separate its wires from that portion of the wiring harness (careful, there are airbag wires in there) and route them back and down behind the head unit and climate controls area, and under the center console along the shifter mechanism. The square USB connector fits right in those blank square pieces by the hand brake. The wires are JUST barely long enough to reach there when you separate them from the wiring harness. Once everything is set in place, I recommend you tie the harness back up so the wires aren't just dangling around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
