ahh yes , ive never was into car audio back then, but through researching these you must be taking about the superman series, the ones you here are the first run after those which where also supposed to be excellent

Welcome to Yaris World! It is nice to see someone else doing a nice system in a liftback. Derick and SQ have sedans. What other equipment are you planning on using?

i am trying to get the matching 12" oz matrix elite subs, as you know this company has gone out of business , and not because it had a poor product, luckily i know a store that has some new old stock left, and im getting it dirt cheap.

these subs work well sealed, but are famous for their IB installs, not that i will attempt an IB in a hatch ... sealed i think in 1.5 - 2.0 cubes will do nicely ;)

-now for the front stage, i did a bit of a search and notice a few yaris owners are installing tweets at the top of the door, that sounds crazy to me having a tweeter so close to your ear, maybe there is something to the acoustics that make it work?

I WOULD SAY Probably deep in the dash using windshield reflections, or the pillar firing across at each other, or ultimate path lengths would be kicks but i dunno how much sound would be muffled with shuffling legs and road noise.

as for the mids , im thinking doors , but angleD at least 30 degrees to opposite listener ?

i dunno...

I dont think you realize where im from - australia! And yes my steering wheel is on the right ;)

Anyway a local dealer lost his distribution rights from elletromedia (dont know the details) but he unloaded all his remaining stock at cost price, was hoping for a 5.1k but he didnt have any, so i thought this will do.

Any way, on to the source, its not my ultimate headunit, but i have an alpine 9853 from a couple years ago , its only 2v but it has bass engine pro, 3 way ctive capability, 5 peq, time align etc etc , it will do for the moment untill i get the install done.
