Hmm...i noticed one of the members put on some Brembo brake/caliper covers..and they look great...any reputable vendors sell them? i searched ebay..and i don't want to go there unless its my last resort...

i forgot who the member was...and couldn't find the thread that it was mentioned in....or else i would just pm him...

I dunno... personally I think it's really tacky, like stuffing socks in your underwear to impress a girl...

If you must, paint your original calipers!

Hey! - the sock trick works!

Those covers hold the heat in. They may not be the greatest idea.

With any sort of serious track work, the caliper covers would probably melt into a gooey red mass on your brakes if they haven't first fallen off the car.

I don't go on the track at all...more of a daily driver...i just like the look of having the cool Brembo brake look....
Plus a car this slow and light doesnt need a big brake kit or performance brake kit (unless you track)...and i'm not about to spend the $$ for that...

hahaha, seen the fake sunroof thing from another forums.

as for the brembo fake covers, I got them couple of years ago for my Camry, but the 16" rims were too small for the covers. So just remember, if you have rims that are very close to the calliper...IT MIGHT NOT FIT! they

here are 2 photos:

Later i will take a picture of the cover... They dont melt dont come loose and sorry but they are not going to fit you 14" wheel, i have the medium size and fit very tight in my 15" and guys having a caliper cover is the same shit of having an eye lids a spoiler or a carbon fiber wrap thing its just cosmetic and under $15

yes but it kinda says "I wish I had $1000 to spend on some good brakes, so I'll make people think that I did!" And huge calipers go sooooo well with tiny lil rotors

Paint your OEM caliper red/blue/purple/green/gold/whatever, it's easy, it looks good, you could even put on a TRD or Brembo vinyl on the face if you're feeling frisky

but hey, that's just my opinion, everybody has one.

You really are that guy that goes to Autozone and buys the Type-R badged stuff.

I think those calipers would go great with a set of plastic double blade windshield-wipers. Perhaps in red to match those double-sided stick on covers.

"If you must have color and cool looks, just paint yours and put on some slotted rotors"

I don't want to see a YW member getting laughed at going down the road

painting the rear drums and calipers can look really good if it is done right.
