Thank you, Friends

Folks this is somewhat a bittersweet news --the day has arrived where I have now officially traded in my Yaris this week.

It has been a fun journey and enjoyed the tweaks and discussions with you guys-- I just wanted to drop-in say "Thanks" for the good times, cheers!

Congrats - hope that you enjoy your new vehicle as much as you probably did your Yaris. What make/model did you go for this time around?

Winter driving in Canada is always been a challenge especially with the Yaris. We decided this time around to go for the added safety of an AWD small SUV to help get around through these tough conditions.

We went with a 2017 Hyundai Tucson AWD in platinum silver:

Sorry to see you go, enjoy the Tucson. To bad you can used studded winter tires in Ontario it helps so much with the Yaris.

Congrats! The new Tucson is a very nice ride.

Check in occasionally and let us know how it's going with the Tucson. Many of us are curious about other makes and models.

You're always welcome here in yarisworld.

Oh wow, today you are the 2nd person who says driving in the winter with the Yaris challenging.

More and more people prefer AWD nowdays.

Our parents grew up with RWD, and without any of these drive assist/aid.

Hello toy, sorry to hear your Yaris is gone. I really liked all of the mods you had made to it. I hope you enjoy the new Tucson, it looks good. Cheers!

Thanks guys. I must say you can't find another forum that compares to the friendliness, helpfulness and quality of post from here : )

I still have a list of stuff I need to unload, e.g. allow rims, spare wiper stalk, winter tires/steel rims, badge, etc. in case some folks might be interested.

Front wiper stalks? If so, are they rusted/paint flaking or are they good?
