Please name these knock-offs...
hi everybody.
just looking for a little help. i found these rims on edgeracing.com flik lex wheel. but they're currently sold out of 17" 4x100, and don't know if/when they'll restock. then i found these on wheelsnext.com kobe 5-split wheel. they look EXACTLY the same, except for the colour (color for you americans!) oh, and the flik are supposed to weigh 17.5 lbs each, whereas the kobe's apparently weigh 19lbs (according to an email from wheelsnext). anyhow, i'm wondering if these are knock-offs of some more famous brand. or if one is knock-off of the other. thanks!! |

thanks, jefe! they look very similar... but have only a 5-lug design. interesting.
but at those prices (< $500/wheel), i'm guessing they're the original! nice find!

I had the 16x7 Flik Apex2's on my Mazdaspeed and they did really well. Very light wheel for the size and price. The only problem with the wheel is that the material they use is relatively weak, so if you hit a curb or big pothole hard, then your wheel is gone. Other than that, I liked them.
As for Edgeracing.com, I've had bad experiences with them in the past so I won't go back.

Ran.... Isn't edgeracing.com is the only place you can buy Flik wheels? Guess I'm stuck dealing with them if I want those wheels.

to me, they also look like the Lenso Muse.
lenso_MUSE.png I wanted those on my Skyline for the racer look but they were sold out. Very good wheel. My friends have had them on cars from a Mitsubishi lancer to Nissan Skylines and Silvias. Light and stylish. |
