What do you think of the Lexus CT200H (hybrid) hatch? Seems to be based off the Auris platform, just like the iM is. I would never pay that much for any daily-driver car (new), but a 2-3 year old preowned one with 24-36K miles might be pretty sweet, especially since it would cost about as much as a new iM at that point (and most people hate hatchbacks that aren't SUV/Crossover class vehicles). It's something that I will consider in 2020-2021, along with an iM, if I'm not feeling the Yaris SE model mojo at that time.

Tesla is am awesome vehicle! i watch those you tube videos all the time of them destroying everything at the track/street.
i have a dealership near me that was a Fisker dealership. i was there the other day and they still have two brand new ones left marked down to $48,000! (they were +$120,000)
if i had the money i'd buy one and stick it in storage for 40 years. it will be worth so much money! i bet near 1M,maybe more!

ive only seen 1 fisker karma here at a starbucks with a young rich girl driving. i was going to go talk to her about the car but she was surrounded by dudes who seemed more interested in her than the car

$48K is ridiculous

A friend used to work for Fisker. The whole, blowing up when wet wasn't a good look. I do agree that if you got one today, they might be worth a lot by the time we're nearly to old to spend the profit lol.

The only cars that bring 7 digits are one-of-a-kind, or owned by dead famous people, or both. I doubt a Karma will ever bring $100k as a "classic". Plus, it's going to take some serious $$$$ to replace those huge obsolete battery packs after 40 years.

One sold a Barrett-Jackson this year in Scottsdale, a 2012 with 19,000 miles. It sold for $40,700.

A Falcon F7, also a 2012 model, sold at the same show for $148,500, almost as much as it was originally bought for, even though Falcon still makes them today.

The cool thing about the Tesla factory is that is used to be called NUMMI, the plant where Toyota taught GM how to build good, cheap cars. They made the the Prism and the Vibe there.

this fisker was at a cadillac dealership. the techs were telling me about the corvette swap and that it bolts right in. the point of buying it would be to keep it original and collecting purposes. if it was to drive, i would spend 48,000 on a used Lotus...

I'd rather spend $48k on something else other than a failed car. Spend a little more and get a new Lexus GS.

And if I'm going to put a V8 into it, for what would probably be the same price, I'd rather buy the CTS-V.
