Prius is LESS Efficient and Environmentally Friendly than a Hummer?
Found this to be an interesting read.
Makes our yaris look even better (greener). http://omidr.typepad.com/torque/2007...s_prius_i.html Regards |

I've read it before. While what the artcle states is pretty much something I had in my mind for a while about Hybrids, I would take the article with a pinch of salt: seems to be a "domestic" supporter article; meaning that if read carefully, it never mentions anything bad about the hummer like extremely low fuel efficiency or it's unreliability. What good is a car that costs $$$ to produce if over it's lifetime you'll have to replace many of it's components? I dunno, I'm kinda SUV hatter becasue, while there are people who really use them for what they are intended, many people just have them as status symbols (C'mon! Do you really need a Hummer when an Explorer does the trick just as well just cheaper?)
